Due to the nature of my work schedule, I am unable to teach a regular class schedule and will only be available to teach by appointment only.

My apologies for not posting October class dates. The my work schedule is pretty fluid most of the time and so the class days will be fluid as well.

This month is our annual Heart of Texas family get together, info as follows:

( Class days for the rest of the month will be published soon following the HOT seminar. )

Oct 13 & 14th, 2012 for a gathering of the HOT training groups, in the spirit of sharing. We will be reviewing the themes and concepts that have been shared with us this year from several of our wonderful Shihan (of course with our own feelings). This will be informal training and open to everyone in the HOT group and related family members. Training will be in close proximity to many of the South Texas beaches and parks, so there will be no shortage of fun for them as well.

Day one will consist of

 indoor training.
Day two will consist of outdoor training, possibly some Tameshigiri, and Shuriken-Jutsu.

Cost will be $50.00, just to cover event expenses.

Lunch on Day 1 will be provided and consist of BBQ and sides.

Sept class dates announced

Looks like I can hold training at my place here in New Braunfels on a situational-rotating basis, depending on work commitments.

So here are the dates for the month of September:
- 8th of Sept, my place at 1:00 p.m. Call for address.
- 17 of Sept, I will be traveling to see my Buyu and brah Richard Elizondo at his place in Corpus Christi.
- 26th of Sept, my place at 7:00 a.m. Call for address.

We completed our move back to the great state of Texas.

Class is back in session

Classes have resumed for the new year, the day when class meets has changed to Thursday 6:30-8:30.

The theme for the new year is ken (sword). We will be going over basic-level sword kamae, kata, techniques and will conduct tameshigiri (test cutting) with a live blade at some point as the weather allows.

Holiday Season Closures

There will be no training conducted through the holidays on the following days:

December 14th, 2011 - January 3rd, 2012.

Class will resume January 4th, 2012.
